The Blaster range of motor driven low frequency sirens are the ideal solution to efficiently and effectively cover vast area alert signals.

These omni – directional high powered alarms are long lasting sirens made from cast aluminium.

They are frequently used in mining, petrochemical, quarries, civil and commercial operations, hazardous and non-hazardous environments.

Mounting The unit should ideally be mounted in a horizontal position. In environments where dirt or particles may fall onto the moving parts of the siren’s impeller, it is recommended to place a protective shield above the unit for protection.

Installation Instructions

  • All units should be designed according to application e.g. for pulse signals high ambient conditions IP65 is suggested.
  • Installation should be carried out by suitably qualified personnel
  • Regular checks as part of routine inspections should be carried out
  • For maximum sound propagation the unit should be mounted at least 5meters in clear radius
  • Responsibility of installer to select correct equipment for gas groups or specific conditions
  • Please note warning labels of rotating parts, extreme high noises and use of hearing protection
  • No modifications to be made to the equipment
  • If power supply to the sirens are pulsed enabling a wail tone, running time is reduced to 10-15min
