Up to four troops and a gunner can be accomodated by the vehicle, Its lightweight, unique design allows for the installation of optional equipment, including a self-recovery winch, latest communications, jammers, additional radios and other soldier equipment.

Armament and self-protection

The ATTV military tactical vehicle features a foldable ring-mount on the roof to carry a 50 calibre machine gun. Both the front and rear sections can be fitted with swing mounts to hold machine guns. The vehicle can also be equipped with one ammo box and smoke grenade launchers.
Ballistic and anti-mine kits can be integrated in to the vehicle to provide all-round protection up to STANAG 4569 level 1. It can be additionally installed with armour products developed by TenCate Advanced Armour.

ATTV’s engine

The ATTV 4×4 wheeled vehicle is powered by a four-stroke, M160053-B diesel engine developed by Steyr. The engine generates a power output of 160kW and a torque of 500Nm. It is coupled to ZF 6HP280 six-speed, automatic transmission.
The power-to-weight ratios at curb weight and GVW are 35.5kW/t and 71.1kW/t respectively. The vehicle also has a 102l / 130l fuel tank and can carry an additional fuel jerrycan of 140l.
A power-assisted steering system is installed in to the vehicle, which can be optionally provided with a second axle steering to reduce the turning circle diameter. It has 40% limited-slip differentials at the front and rear.

The 275/65/18 tyres provide increased mobility in all terrain conditions.

The vehicle also consists of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) two-stage transfer case, A-arms suspension, prop-shaft 2x axles, and four Rennsport brake discs with a diameter of 340mm each.
Mobility

A maximum speed of up to 170km / h can be attained by the ATTV at high range and 95km / h at low range. It has a range of 1,200km on road, ground clearance of 0.3m and fording depth of 0.86m. Meanwhile, wall-to-wall turning circle diameter is 13m.
The vehicle’s approach and departure angles are 50º each, whereas the ramp over angle is 150º. The ATTV can negotiate gradients of 80% to 90% and vertical obstacle of 0.3m.
